11. Examples and Clarifications

11.1 Acceptable Uses - Examples

✅ Website Owner: You run an e-commerce store and want to monitor it for security issues and SEO optimization.

✅ Marketing Agency: Your client hired you to manage their website, and you add it to FixiWeb as part of your services (with their documented agreement).

✅ IT Department: You work in IT and are responsible for your company's websites, so you use FixiWeb to monitor them.

✅ Freelance Developer: A client contracts you to fix their website, and you use FixiWeb to analyze it (with their permission).

11.2 Unacceptable Uses - Examples

❌ Unauthorized Scanning: You scan a competitor's website without their knowledge to find vulnerabilities.

❌ Limit Circumvention: You create multiple free accounts to monitor more websites than your plan allows.

❌ Credential Sharing: You share your FixiWeb login with five colleagues even though your plan only includes one user.

❌ Service Reselling: You offer "website audits" using FixiWeb without being on the Agency plan or having authorization to resell.

❌ Malicious Intent: You use FixiWeb's security analysis to find vulnerabilities, then exploit them rather than fix them.

3.7 AI and Automation Misuse

Because FixiWeb is capable of executing active changes on websites, the following are explicitly prohibited:

❌ Using FixiWeb's automated fix capabilities on websites you do not own or do not have explicit written authorization to modify

❌ Authorizing the Computer Use Agent to execute actions beyond the specific fix you have reviewed and approved

❌ Attempting to manipulate FixiWeb's AI systems to generate fixes that could damage, deface, or compromise a website

❌ Using fix execution capabilities to introduce malicious code, backdoors, or unauthorized scripts into any website

❌ Circumventing the approval gate — attempting to trigger automated fix execution without going through the review and approval workflow

❌ Using FixiWeb's scanning capabilities as a vulnerability reconnaissance tool against websites you do not operate

12. Anti-Reselling

FixiWeb services may not be resold, redistributed, or offered as part of a third-party service without prior written authorization from FixiWeb LLC. Agency plan users may provide scan results and reports to their clients as part of their professional services, but may not resell direct access to the FixiWeb platform.

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
